Neighbors
Shame
Lawncare poetry

The neighbors watched Our grass grow As they gossiped about Us riffraff.

We tried our best To lay low, But still felt the scorn In each laugh.

Even our own Brought a sense of shame With no one to blame On our behalf.

Parsimony Parts the lonely Until one has The last half.
